I was very excited to use shapes to make patterns. We used circles, lines and triangles. Now I know lot about geometry. These activities were really cool!

I have a question. How did Greeks make discoveries of these shapes?

Kind Regards,
Hyun Seo

Interesting question, Joshua!

Geometry is very important and useful in our lives for so many reasons. I wonder if our classmates can help to answer your question, before I give you my own examples.

Grade 4, why is geometry important in the world?

It was a very cool activity to make wonderful artwork by using our knowledge of geometry. We also did lots of other fun tasks for our geometry homework and this was very cool. I have a question and it’s not about lines, angle or polygons. My question is, “is geometry important? If it is, then why?”

Kind regards,
Joshua

Making shapes with right angled triangle, compass and circles was very fun! The shapes we made were wonderful. I am excited about the next project we are doing.

Kind regards,

It was so fun for us to use compasses and rulers to make circles and use 2D shapes to make hexagons or circles.

The designs look great and we all made a lot of geometry designs to be better at maths.

Kind regards,
Jermaine

I was very interested in Geometry unit in Math.
Thank you for teaching us! In Thailand, I learned all about shapes! We had different kinds of shapes, but we didn’t learn about parallel lines and things such as those. Now I have a Question – How did the Ancient Greek make these discoveries about triangles?

Sincerely,
Poonnapa

I was excited learning about geometry and i was interested that the ancient Greeks made these discoveries about geometry but i want to know why and how they learned about geometry in ancient times? Is it related to something? I would like you to know that i had a great time working with Sajid to create the artwork.

Kind Regards,
Benedict

I enjoyed the part when I finished my geometry designs because thet look cool. The part that was hard was when I coloured the circle because I tried to make a difficult pattern. The easy part is when I drew the line for circle with the compass.

Kind Regards
